1. How does windshield film and installation compare to automotive window film?
Our film and automotive window film are both polyester based film. This means that both films require heat molding to be properly installed. Due to the 4mil thickness of MASTPRO, an installer must use more heat and a longer application of the heat to properly heat mold MASTPRO. Once the liner has been removed, the installer requires use of more force than what is used on automotive window film to adhere the windshield film to the glass.
2. Will our film impair the driver’s vision?
No. our film is optically clear and guaranteed not to peel, bubble, crack or yellow for the warrantied life of the product. When installed properly, MASTPRO is truly invisiable.
3. Will our film remain adhered to the windshield?
The adhesive is strong enough to withstand any speeds that a vehicle may reach. Our film is even strong enough to withstand speeds reached by professional racing vehicles.
4. Will our film permanent?
No. it is a film that protects the windshield from harsh conditions that often break or chip standard windshields. Being a film,it should occasionally be removed and replaced to provide the best protection for the windshield. The need and timing to replace the film is depends upon the km driven and the conditions in which those km are accumulated.
5. How is our film removed or replaced?
It uses a unique adhesive that keeps the film adhered tightly to windshield, but at the same time, the adhesive is not permanent. If the invisible windshield protection film needs to be removed for any reason, it can be removed by using a hard plastic or stainless steel object(i.e. edge of a plastic or stainless steel blade). Using the plastic or stainless steel simply lift the film on one edge and then pull using slow and consistent pressure.
