Window tint violation leads to drug charges
A 45-year-old West Rome man was arrested on a felony hydrocodone possession charge after police pulled him over for a window tint violation on Maple Avenue, reports stated.
Keyatta Waschunn Wofford Sr., was arrested Thursday evening on Maple Avenue near East 12th Street and charged with felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance and tampering with evidence. He also faces misdemeanor charges of drugs not in the original container, operation of vehicles on approach of emergency vehicles and a window tint violation.
Wofford remained in jail without bond on a probation hold as of Friday afternoon.
