This new windshield film is a 4mil thickness,light blue color with VLT 77% and IR rejection 96%, it is significantly different with first generation windshield film which is a transparent one without any heat rejection performance.
The purpose of first generation windshield film is just for window protection, it is installed exteriorly to protect the glass against impact of stone,hail and other hard substance during driving process. The new windshield film developed by Dingxin Film, besides the function of protection, it also bring the solar heat rejection performance, so that even a new car without any tint inside the glass of windshield, it will have great solar heat rejection after put our new windshield film.
There used to be some very bad experience from many customers who buy windshield film from China, because some of the sellers only use normal 4mil clear safety film sold as windshield film, but we all know as a exteriorly installed protection film, except tough scratch resistance performance, it also requires good shrinkage for the film to be properly installed.
